Celebrating its 14th year in 2014 The Whittlesea Country Music Festival is now a highlight on the country music scenes extensive calendar.

In 2012 Green Light PR were commissioned to create a publicity campaign for the Festival and have continued each year since. Our campaign involved a combination of PR, competitions, editorial, digital and social media strategy and securing an Ambassador.

The results were overwhelming having media cover events, performances and giving the festival an identity. Activities such as “put a call out to local Boot Scooters”, Award winning whip crackers and friendly farm animals for the Country Music Festival weather crosses on the Today Show

Our team worked endlessly to make sure the campaign ran smoothly. We co-ordinated and booked publicity opportunities for ambassador, Adam Brand which included an appearance on The Circle and further developed local stories and radio interviews based on the event and key talent. Implemented a digital and social media campaign and collaborated with Whittlesea Council event staff to make this a successful event.
